Pretam earned a Bachelors in Dental Surgery in Mumbai and launched Dental practices with family care dentistry at heart. In 2008, he moved to London to pursue his M.Sc. in Public Health from one of the world’s top three ranked universities, University College London. He completed the licensing exams in London and has been a registered General Dental Practitioner in London, UK since 2010.

His quest to train with the best to ensure the very best patient care and treatment has since continued. He completed the MJDF examinations in 2011 from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is now the member of the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) and the Faculty of Dental Surgery, in addition to acquiring another Diploma in Dental Public Health (DDPH). In 2012, he was incorporated as a Fellow member of the Royal Society of Public Health.

He is proficient in the use of Conscious Sedation for dental treatments and is certified for placement of endosseous Dental Implants, affiliated to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He has gained extensive knowledge in treating complex full mouth cases with hands on smile design cases focussing on occlusion with soft and hard tissue augmentation. He completed his certifications and has been an Affiliated Licensed provider of multiple Removable Clear Aligner systems like Invisalign® and fixed orthodontic systems – Fastbraces®, QST, Inman Aligner, Delta Force and Cfast.

Dr Pretam Gharat is also trained on various veneer systems like Lumineers® and Edelweiss Veneer’s®. He has undergone advanced training in the use of Dermal Fillers and Botulinum toxin (BOTOX®) for Facial Aesthetics using the Juvaderm range of fillers (Voluma, Volift and Volbela).

He strives to provide the most advanced treatments, the most beautiful and natural smiles and to have the most highly trained and caring team around him. The aim is to be able to deliver pain-free dentistry, in a comfortable, warm and friendly environment and to build caring lifelong relationships and trust with patients.
