Maulin qualified 2001 at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital and has continued with postgraduate training ever since.

His main interests lie in restorative, cosmetic dentistry and craniofacial pain (treatment of head, neck and shoulder pain which may be dentally related).

He possesses extensive experience in all aspects of advanced dentistry, with an emphasis on restorative and cosmetic dentistry. To ensure that you receive the best possible care, he works closely with the most highly regarded specialists and laboratory technicians in the UK to craft superior restorations.

Maulin keeps abreast of the latest advances in dentistry through continuing education programmes which far exceed the requirements of The General Dental Council. He completed his MSc in Restorative Cosmetic Surgery in 2011 – the first MSc of its kind in the UK.

In addition to possessing an MSc, he has also undergone extensive training to become a certified provider for the following:

Maulin was shortlisted in the Dentistry Awards 2009 in the category of Best Young Dentist, London. He was also shortlisted for the Smile Awards 2010for two categories Restorative Smile and Patient Smile.

The Aesthetic Dentistry Awards is the UK's most prestigious aesthetic dentistry event which acknowledges the dentists who create UK's best smiles. He has been shortlisted for the best Restorative Case – Full mouth 2014, and again in 2016 for the "Interdisciplinary Team — Ortho-Restorative" category.

Outside dentistry, Maulin has a passion for travelling and exploring the world, following the buzz of Formula 1 and an aspiration for photography.

Jassar has over 12 years of private dental practice experience, during which he has mentored and coached in VT-equivalent dentists programs.

He graduated from dental school in 2003. Between 2003 and 2015 he was the co-owner and Managing Director of 8 private dental practices. He has also served as a Management Consultant for dental practice start-ups.

Jassar has extensive experience in complex root canal treatments, prosthodontics and digital scanning for crowns and bridges. During his years of dental practice he has insisted on continued academic development.

He has been a lecturer in dentistry and head of department for a Dental Nursing Academy in the Netherlands.

Jassar’s special Interests include complex root canal treatments, prosthodontics and cosmetic dentistry.

Shital Patel

Shital Patel

BDS Lond 1991, FDS RCS Eng 1995, MSc

Shital qualified from King’s College London in 1991 and completed the FDS RCS (ENG) in 1995. In 2014 she was awarded an MSc in aesthetic dentistry, with merit, from King’s College London.

After qualifying, Shital worked as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, in the community dental service and as a specialist doctor in the Orthodontic department at Chase Farm Hospital. This has given her a lot of experience in all aspects of dentistry.

She has a special interest in minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry and is an Inman aligner and clear brace provider.

She is also a member of the British Dental Association and regularly attends lectures to keep her skills and knowledge up to date.

Outside of dentistry Shital enjoys travelling, photography and gardening.

Shawqi Al-Hashemi MBBS, BDS, MFDS RCSI, MFDS RCS Eng, FFD RCSI (ORAL SURGERY AND ORAL MEDICINE), Member of the International Congress of the Implantologists. Director and Principal Surgeon.

After qualifying in 1998, Shawqi completed his dental training in general practice and implants placement before entering the NHS hospital service. He has worked in oral and maxillofacial surgery units across Ireland and UK. In 2005 he was awarded the prestigious membership of Royal College of Surgeons of England and Ireland, followed by a Fellowship in oral surgery and oral medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland in 2005.

In 2009 he was awarded a medical degree from Barts and the London University to pursue a career in Maxillofacial Surgery.

During his training he worked in respiratory medicine, cardiology, general surgery, trauma and orthopaedics, urology, vascular surgery and ENT.

Shawqi gained Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Sedation Certificate, Care of Critically Ill Surgical Patients and many other certificates.

Shawqi has delivered many lectures to general dental and medical practitioners nationally and internationally and actively contributes to teaching and publications.

He is a clinical mentor in minor oral surgery for the Royal College of Surgeons of England where he teaches dentists surgical procedures.

Shawqi is an expert in oral surgery, implantology, Fastbraces and aesthetic dentistry.

Magdalena qualified from Kings College Hospital, London with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene & Therapy awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons.

She first began her dental career 7 years ago as a Dental Nurse.

In 2012 she gained dual qualification as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist. She is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy.

With her skill base Magdalena is a key member of our team in preventing periodontal disease and promoting good oral health. She is also able to carry out restorative treatment on adults and children.

In her spare time she enjoys jogging, travelling and socialising.

Kate MillerKate Miller

Kate qualified as a Dental Hygienist, gaining a Foundation Degree in Oral Health Science at the University of Essex in 2015.
She first began her dental career 8 years ago as a Dental Nurse.

Kate has a friendly, approachable and caring manner which places even the most nervous at ease. She is committed to treating gum diseases such as gingivitis and periodontists using the most up to date and pain free techniques.

She will help explain and educate patients about dental disease and motivate her patients to care for their oral health. Kate believes that prevention is better than cure and will teach you healthy habits and provide you with the correct tools you need to manage your dental health.

Kate continues to update her skills regularly and is interested in taking courses related to cosmetics such as tooth whitening and botox.

Outside of dentistry Kate enjoys traveling and socialising with friends. She also likes to keep fit and takes part in charity events and fun races such as Tough Mudder.

Mira ShahMira Shah

Mira Shah qualified as a Dental Therapist in 1977. 

She worked as a dental therapist with Redbridge Health Authority, working with children.  She worked mostly in the clinics but also went to a day centre for mentally and physically disabled children to help them with their oral hygiene and helping the staff to maintain it. 

Mira moved on to work as a hygienist in 2002. She says she thoroughly enjoys being a hygienist, and joins Apple after a short career break.

Pablika Shrestha

Pablika started her dental career as a Dental Nurse in 2007. She has a very friendly approach and an understanding character, which helps reassure patients from the moment they inquire about their dental needs to the completion of their treatment. Her thirst for knowledge has led her to aquire further qualifications in Dental Radiography and First Aid. Her role at Apple Dental Studios has grown with her knowledge and experience, allowing her to deal with patients' concerns quickly and efficiently, putting their minds at ease. She helps patients by discussing treatments and the different options available.

Away from work she enjoys reading and movies, and has a keen interest in travel.

Adriana brings with her a range of experience and a strong committment to help you prevent gum problems and keep your teeth for life.  She works in close partnership with you so that you can look after your teeth for the long-term. Adriana is enthusiastic about her work and she is both gentle and caring. Her manner makes you want to do your part to keep up with the cleaning and maintenance programmes.

She qualified in Hungary in 2005 and she is an active member of both the British and the Hungarian Dental Councils. She is always looking for new methods and materials that make your smile healthy and beautiful. Last year she acquired her tooth whitening certificate to meet our patients' demand for cosmetic smile enhancement and at the moment she is busy with her dental radiography studies.
